old harmony

April 16, 2012 § Leave a comment

Sunday I had nothing to do (laundry, taxes, cleaning and miscellaneous writing aside) so I went to Harmony.

Harmony is a town about 15 minutes from where we live in PA, and it’s a very old, historic town that I’ve heard has a fountain from, like, the 1700s, and now that I’m thinking about it, I totally forgot to look for it. Oh well, next time I guess!

But, here are some photos from my fountain-less adventure, including lots of old typewriters, flowers and a very old cemetery void of tombstones – apparently the Harmonists were so prudent that they thought even tombstones were too garish and boastful!

How was your weekend?
