Ah! I get to be a bridesmaid for the first time in my life, which I am soo excited about.
I truly love the dress, but now I have to get some shoes and I feel so overwhelmed! I can wear anything biege, nude, neutral or gold, but I just don’t know what to get! Part of me wants to wear just plain, classic pumps and part of me wants to wear something kind of funky (or as funky as nude can get).
What do you think? Do you have any bridesmaid shoe advice?

Sorry it’s been so quiet over here recently. Busy doing a bunch of stuff including watching Bunheads and (shocker!) the gym — I lead a very important life.
But, I have to share this band with you: Family of the Year.
I am obsessed with the song St. Croix and the music video. It’s so retro and cute. Do you have a favorite summer jam right now?

I made something this weekend!
All I did was buy a purse for $3 at the Goodwill (I love mine, it always has such great finds), some Martha craft paint and some floral fabric. It was super easy and came out just like I hoped!

Have you seen Bunheads? It premiered Monday night and I just watched it.
Bunheads definitely felt like GG 2.0 and I am totally OK with that. I still watch Gilmore Girls everyday and lament its end (which sadly happened about five years ago).
What do you think? Have you seen it?

Recently I mentioned my New York trip. It was amazing, but something weird happened when I was there: my feet blew up.
I think the fact that I sat for nine hours straight on a bus and then immediately started walking a zillion times more than I normally would (plus the fact that I’m just a teensy bit out of shape) caused my feet to freak out and swell up to an inhuman, Shrek-sized version of their normal selves.
The whole trip I wanted to cry because I could barely fit my feet into my shoes, nor were my shoes good walking shoes to begin with. But when I got home, my mom suggested I try on her Crocs, which are a bit of an eyesore and reserved for gardening, but felt like heaven.
I was kinda bummed that these uggo shoes were so comfy, but I decided to take a look at the Crocs selection and found that they have a lot of really cute shoes! Oh, if only I had discovered this before I went to New York! I have now decided that the next time I go on a trip, I will buy a pair of Crocs.
What do you think — cute or not so much?
